I had my first venture into pvp this weekend .

i have tried a few of my buillds as a ranger and have had to develop a special one for pvp

i fould quite a bit of sucess with :-

poison arrow ( E)
troll ungent
savage shot
needling shot
throw dirt
conjure lightning
ignite arrows
rez signet.

if other rangers are around someone normally brings fave winds for even more damage.

with this build we won 9 in a row ( 7 flawless)
2 mesmers 1 ranger 1 dervish. ( and yes we fought teams with monks and assassins / ele's the lot really .. but there were loads of times I had bailers before this team formed.

a lot of people see no monk in their team and dive back out !!
what is the point its random!!!
havent been to team arenas yet.

and as i only made 9 not 10 then heros ascent is not open yet for me.

i find it quite strange cos i have 3 characters all able to use heros ascent, when they never did any PvP in the zaishen challenge OR elite??

oh well!! well done anyways and unlucky on the last win!

(guys! i set up a forum to post builds, PvP or otherwise!! use it please!!)

My best character for RA is probably my Ele because he's good at spiking with air magic. Most other characters are useless. Hopefully my assassin when he's lvl 20 will be able to RA too.
