 The aeromancer elementalist/monk build

Must of the build i took from the blinding prodigy estoric warrior preset template i just changed it a bit so it can fit our needs in gvg

this is the premade template


weapon modes on staff:


and the build:



if you cant see picture from some reason ill write down the attribute points

air magic 12+1(rune of minor air magic)+1(storm eye)=14
earth magic 0
fire magic 0
water magic 0
enregy storage 9+1(rune of minor enregy storage)=10
healing prayers 0
smiting prayers 0
protection prayers 9

note i also used a rune of superior vigor to boost up hp aswell as +29 hp weapon upgrade (other upgrade was +5 enregy)

skills:
1.lightning orb
2.windborn speed
3.blinding flash
4.enrvating charge
5.ether prodigy(elite)
6.extinguish
7.aegis
8.ressurection signet

How to use this build?
this build purpose is to control flag stands(and obliesks if there are)

*you cast windborn on urself to move faster while carrying the flag(33% faster then normal for 10 sec with 14 air magic)
*when you see alot of your party members with the condition arrow on their life use extinguish
*try and have aegis allways working since the more the enemys warriors miss the better
*use ether prodigy when you need fast enregy and make sure you can waste it all meaning you got an enemy to unleash all your attacks on
or otherwise your in for some pain cause the more enregy point you gained from ether prodigy the more damage youl recieve

What do i need to do considering we control all flags and i got an extra 1 in my hand?

the first thing you should do is see for your team if they need any support with the protection skills that you can provide
if you cant try and spot some warriors chasing your monk and use blinding flash and then enverting charge the first spell will make them blind and the second will make them inflict minimum damage (very good on hammer warriors since their damage is deadly) make sure you use envarting charge second so that even if the enemy monk use mend condition he will take off the weakness first and no the blind

after youv done that you can start inflicting some pretty high damage with the lightning orb

Want me to rebuild myself into this? Well, I can (after buying some skills and having my secondary profession changed). 1 thing though: Airborn speed makes you run 33% faster for 10 seconds while armor of mists makes you run 25% faster for 21 seconds and gives me +42 armor. If you want me running with the flag, I'd go for Armor Of Mists. But then i need to go water instead of air. Maybe we could replace the air skills in this build with water and it would still be effective (Ice Spear does 74 damage every 2 seconds, that hurts). Plus even without enervating charge i can still be a pain in a warriors ass. Blurred vision makes "only" 50%of the attacks miss, but it lasts 21 seconds and affects adjacent foes. Ice prison also seriously drops the effectiveness of a warrior. Wink

i need you to stay as heydromancer ill show you the build i had in mind when ill get the time to start building it
and with the flag we need the speed not the armor much since lets assume you take the new faction armor with the +10 armor while enchantment thats still will be more then enoughe defence and youl be faster to much for ppl to catch you and since only warrior will try and chase this ele and it can blind them it shouldent be much trouble

i need some help from you luna in building the hydromancer the attribute points are allright but theres 4 slots for attacks and i dont know what to put in them

i tried it a bit and i definitly need you to control cause the enregy managment for hydromancer is realy hard and the ether prodigy exhusting some of the enregy aint making it simpler

Wow, you've put quite some work in this! I dont mind being a supportive character. Maybe the best skills i could take then are Ice Spear as fast damage output, Ice Prison (although it takes 30 seconds to recharge, 15 if i'm lucky) and blurred vision. I could also replace Blurred Vision with Ice Spikes for extra damage and slowing small groups but i think blurring will be more usefull for stopping warriors then the 6 second slow of Ice Spikes.

to be honest im quiet confused some groups have only 1 ele that use aegis blinding flash heal party draw condition and melee area
and this ele doesnt run to get the flag the ranger or assassin do that and then they drop flag and he picks it up

some groups got 2 eles 1 has mists armor and heal party and other 1 has ice spikes deep freez blinding flash and heal party and aegis


i dont know what we should go for i was thinking of the first ele cause his a real annoyance to warriors (melee ward+blinding flash)

the 1 ele i saw been used by peace and harmoney and by the last pride

anyways ill talk to u when ur online and will decide what to do

My Elementalist/Monk Mage of the Wind usually goes into Alliance Battles with healing builds, usually centered around spamming Heal Other and Heal Party. I usually couple that up with Kinetic Armour because of the frequency of casting healing spells. Cool

Idea I could probably try adjusting the build to cater to the needs of the guild!
